Xuhai-Guanyinbi Nature Reserve connects the coasts of Pingtung and Taitung, one of Taiwan’s few remaining natural sanctuaries untouched by highways. Using “postcards” as our core metaphor, we transform this land into a natural library where visitors can listen, touch, and engage in dialogue. Every traveler who pauses here receives messages from mountains, seas, winds, and stones through the glide of their fingertips. Through the interweaving of technology and poetry, we invite travelers to experience that “nature is not merely observed, but understood,” allowing this coastline to leave a memory beyond the visual.

Falling mountain winds, clouds, waves, stones—eleven nature letter writers speak to travelers in the first person, sharing the ecological stories, geological memories, and cultural contexts they each safeguard. Travelers freely choose which letter to open and whose story to hear, sensing through each swipe the flow of time, the transformation of landscapes, and the symbiosis between nature and humanity. Multilingual support ensures every visitor can understand this land’s breath and warmth.

Intuitive Touch and Swipe Interactions : The rail moves physically as if walking along the coastline, opening each letter writer’s message page by page. Every swipe unfolds visual dynamics and textual narrative in synchrony, making the tour not just information delivery, but an exchange of emotion and memory. All content is crafted through literary writing and visual design—beyond information, conveying the land’s warmth and memory.
