Diablo IV|Hell Countdown AR Interactive Experience

Introduction|Bringing Marketing Concepts to Life with AR for an Engaging Campaign

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Diablo IV, we collaborated with the game team to create an outdoor “Hell Countdown” installation at Ximending, one of Taipei’s most iconic landmarks. The installation features the “Gate of Hell” at the entrance to Ximending’s pedestrian area, symbolizing an invitation for heroes to enter endless darkness. This journey into the dark begins by scanning the “Gate of Hell.”

Scan the Devil’s Number “6” to Unlock the Gate of Hell

Using their mobile phones, players can open the AR interactive website and look for the number “6” at select Ximending locations like the MRT exit, the Red House, and Cinema Street. Scanning this symbol with a smartphone camera reveals Lilith’s ominous signs. Additionally, scanning specific landmarks and completing designated tasks offers players a chance to win the Diablo IV PC Ultimate Edition game code.

Web AR Technology: Engage with No App Download Needed

This experience uses Web AR, offering an app-free AR experience directly through a webpage. Users simply click a link to access AR effects, lowering the barrier for participation and making the experience accessible across age groups—not limited to younger audiences—making it an ideal choice for immersive marketing experiences.
