The project began with physical AI divination kiosks at the “Craft Pilgrimage” exhibition, where visitors input basic information and randomly draw cards to receive craft shop recommendations and Five Elements fortune readings. The second phase expanded to a mobile website featuring intuitive touch interactions, where the moment cards flip reveals users’ unique Five Elements attributes. AI algorithms instantly analyze energy combinations, generating one-of-a-kind craft inspiration imagery while connecting with 500 artisan workshops across Taiwan, creating a complete experience from online divination to physical engagement.

Utilizing generative AI technology combined with Taiwanese craft elements, the system transforms abstract numerological concepts into concrete handicraft guidance through image computation and predictive algorithms. After divination results are revealed, users enter the AR filter stage, where they visually merge with the Five Elements: metalwork luster shimmering in hair, wood carving textures etched on frames, indigo dyeing flowing like dreamscapes, kiln fire halos dancing on faces, and pottery clay hues tinting caps. In the digital tide, the Craft Divination Project infuses traditional crafts with innovative vitality. This is not only a dialogue between technology and tradition, but also an invitation: inviting everyone to step into their own craft world and discover life’s infinite possibilities within the flow of Five Elements.
